Technology That Serves Communities, Not Complexity

Ocean Justice AI exists to give every coastal advocate the power to visualize impact and drive change.

Who we are?

Ocean Justice AI is a visual mapping platform and social network.
We're marine scientists, AI developers, and community advocates who got tired of watching powerful environmental data sit unused because the tools to visualize and share it were too expensive, too complex, or simply didn't exist.
So we built OJAI a platform where anyone can create interactive maps without code, overlay community data with environmental datasets, and connect with thousands of advocates worldwide doing the same work.

The Problem we’re Solving

Coastal communities are collecting incredible data: water quality monitoring, pollution tracking, restoration outcomes, environmental health studies. This data could secure funding and change policies.

But it stays trapped in spreadsheets and PDFs because:

Professional mapping tools require GIS training and enterprise budgets

Creating visual stories means hiring expensive designers

Work happens in isolation advocates don't know who else is fighting similar battles

Data stays fragmented across different sources

Our Mission

Democratize environmental data and amplify coastal voices by providing accessible visual storytelling tools and a global network where communities connect, collaborate, and drive change.

our mission

What this means in practice:

Create interactive maps easily, uncover insights with AI, and share to build movements. Free for individuals, affordable for organizations, and you always control your data. Connect with allies worldwide, track environmental impacts, and turn your data into actionable change.

Our Vision

A world where every coastal community regardless of resources or technical capacity can visually showcase their environmental reality, access data that informs action, and connect with a movement ensuring ocean justice for all.

We're building the infrastructure that coastal advocates deserve: powerful enough to influence policy, simple enough to use from a phone, and connected enough to turn isolated efforts into global movements.
